1. Security deposit
Where applicable, a security deposit is collected and held on a refundable basis, subject to post-use inspection and settlement of any deductions.
2. Refund after inspection
The deposit is considered for refund only after inspection of the apartment, fittings, furnishings, electronics, accessories, and use areas linked to the booking.
3. Minimum damage charge guide
- Wall or fixture damage: ₦150,000 minimum
- Furniture damage: ₦200,000 minimum
- Electronics or electrical damage: ₦300,000 minimum
- Kitchen plate or utensil damage (excluding electronics/electrical): ₦50,000 minimum
4. Chargeable cleaning
Cleaning charges may apply where rugs, sofas, curtains, bedsheets, or similar items require cleaning because of spills, stains, or substances introduced during the stay, even where no permanent damage is found.
5. Charges above deposit
Where inspection charges exceed the security deposit held, the guest remains liable for the balance and Molly Apartment may invoice or otherwise recover the excess amount.
